So, here is the latest update about the thing that the whole India has been waiting for. Finally, UPSC Result 2017 are out and it is the time that to check your status. There has been a lot of buzz about the Civil Services Result in the market among the students but today, they are out putting an end to all the discussions. This UPSC Civil Services Examination 2017 was under so much light mainly due to the change in the syllabus. So, it must be quite eager to all those attempted candidates about the examination final result.
It was on 27th of April that the union Public Service Commission has declared the Civil Services Final Result for the year 2017 and hence, uploaded the list of candidates who made it this time. After conducting the Civil Services Examination 2017 from October to November and the Personality Test to the shortlisted candidates from February to April 2018, the commission has finally shortlisted 990 candidates who will be appointed. There are 132 more candidates under the reserved list. The Government of India, however, has shown a requirement of 1058 candidates on the whole.
Now, it is the time that UPSC Civil Services Examination Result 2017 is to be discussed. Durishetty Avinash is the first rank holder of Civil Services Examination for the year 2017-18. He is followed by Anu Kumari and Sachin Gupta in the next places respectively. As released by the Services commission, the top ranker scored 55.60 percent marks. Anu Kumari, who stood second, scored 55.50 percent while Sachin Gupta scored 55.40 and stood in the third place. The Civil Services main exam was for a maximum of 1750 marks and 275 marks for the interview.
Anudeep scored 950 in written test and 176 marks in the interview, making a total of 1126 marks. On the other hand, Anu Kumari scored 937 marks and 187 marks in written test and interview respectively. It was 946 and 176 for Sachin in the same order. And, the 990th ranker, Himankshi Bharadwaj, scored 687 and 143 in written test and interview respectively, making a total of 40.98 percent. Out of the total 990 candidates selected for different posts under UPSC, 750 are men and 240 are women. So, the selected candidates will be posted for different posts in Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
